Brian Jacobson, Principal/Creative Director

Brian has more than 17 years experience developing brand identity, corporate communications and packaging programs for companies such as Apple Computer, Cisco Systems, Coca-Cola, General Mills, Kraft Foods, Sony Electronics, Unilever and Xerox Corporation. His ability to combine marketing strategies with creative solutions has translated into awards and recognition from numerous design organizations.

Prior to starting Focus Design, Brian held senior creative positions at top international design firms and Apple Computer. He graduated with honors from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and has taught graphic design at the Academy of Art in San Francisco for more than 5 years.

Brian's work has been recognized by numerous design organizations and publications,including American Corporate Identity, Graphis, Graphic Design USA, International Packaging, Print Magazine, the San Francisco Show and the Western Art Directors Club.

As Focus Design's Creative Director, Brian is responsible for overseeing the firm's creative process and managing all art direction.
