Challenge

As a start-up company, they wanted to introduce their custom-colored steering wheel covers to a target audience of young men, 16-25 years old.

Solution

With the ad ”Get A Grip” headline and eye-catching visuals, the campaign promoted the attitude that this is a cool way to dress your car with the personality you want.

The print campaign ran in a variety of consumer publications, including: Surfer magazine, Car and Driver, and Road & Track. The ad campaign helped launch this Orange County company as a hip purveyor of ”trendy product” for the automotive aftermarket.
