Background

Mary’s Pizza Shack is a family-owned and managed chain of 15 Italian restaurants. Founded by Mary Fazio in 1959, it enjoys a rich, authentic heritage while progressing into a larger-scale operation.

Challenge

Capturing that rich heritage of Mary and ”the Shack” while moving their entire visual brand into this next generation of operations involved simultaneously working on every aspect of their brand communications.

Solution

Advertising, including billboards, direct mail, radio, print and newspaper articulated the originality and authenticity of the founder while reinforcing the essence of the brand value, ”Original Recipes from the Original Shack.”
