Background

Tome is a soft drink distributed by Safeway Stores. The supermarket chain created the soft drink to appeal specifically to Hispanic consumers.

Challenge

The product name was chosen by Safeway and means ”to drink.” The challenge was to strongly appeal to Hispanic consumers, ages 20-35.

Solution

We designed a brandmark and package to reflect Mexico’s festive culture. The use of colorful flowers suggests a fresh, flavorful taste. Powerful color-coding helps strengthen shelf impact and signal different flavors.
